Privacy Policy

How we handle your information, in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we collect

Coaches: email, password (stored securely by our sign-in provider), public profile details, seat and programme orders, and referral activity. Clients: username, email for password recovery, check-in answers for each round, topic progress, completed action steps and journal answers. Programme requests: your name and email if you are not signed in.

When you follow a link to a partner platform, we count the click (which partner, which programme and the page it came from). We don't store anything that identifies you. A referral link sets a cookie for 90 days so we can credit the coach who referred you.

What your coach can see

When you join through your coach's invite, you consent to your coach seeing your check-in results and topic progress. Your journal answers are private by default. Your coach sees a journal answer only if you turn on "Share with my coach" for it, and you can turn sharing off at any time. Your answers may reflect personal, emotional or spiritual matters, so we treat them as sensitive information.

Why we use it

We use your information to run your account, your coaching journey, orders and commissions. We do not sell your personal information.

Storage and protection

Information is held in access-controlled Lovable Cloud storage. Coaches can read only their own clients. Clients can read only their own data. We restrict access to authorised ThinkLife staff and apply reasonable security safeguards. Online transmission cannot be guaranteed completely secure.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is active and as needed to meet legal obligations. If your coach releases your seat, your data is kept so your journey can continue later. Specific retention periods are [to be confirmed] before launch.

Your rights

Under POPIA, you may ask to access or correct your information, request deletion where applicable, or object to processing. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
